 10-series

Accessing the adaptability of the entire body.

The 10 series is like building the body back, from bottom to top, outside – in. Following what Dr. Ida Rolf called the recipe. She explained it is one long session broken into 10 smaller sessions focusing each on a specific area of the body. The 10 sessions are further broken down into 3 groups. SESSIONS 1-3: known as the ‘sleeve sessions’. These are more superficial, bring space to the body and preparing it to go deeper.  SESSIONS 4-7: which we call the ‘core sessions’. Here we work with deeper structures in the body and the relationship the body has with gravity from the feet through the top of the head. SESSIONS 8-10: These sessions aim at bringing relation throughout the entire body, finishing anything from previous sessions and ending, once again superficially, with an integrated body.

A mini-series is a great way to explore, return to, or even just tune up on Rolfing®. Here we can mix and match the original 10 sessions to tailor a plan to your specific goals and needs.
